    What is large format artworking?

    Large format artworking is the discipline of preparing artwork for output at scale — anything from a 2 metre exhibition panel to a building wrap that covers an entire facade. Different printers, different substrates, different colour profiles, different viewing distances. It needs production knowledge as well as design craft: scaling logic, vector vs raster decisions, image resolution at print scale, panel splits, registration marks, and substrate-specific colour management.

    Often, yes — but we'll audit it first and flag anything that won't hold up at scale, with a recommendation on what to rebuild and what to keep.

    Do you liaise with the printer directly?

    Yes. We work to the printer's spec from the start and handle file release and follow-ups so the install day is uneventful.

    What scale do you work at?

    Typically 1:10 for very large pieces with a clean uplift path to 1:1 — but we adapt to whatever the printer requires.
